KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., September 29, 2026 | CSL today announced a collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to apply artificial intelligence and cloud technologies to support the company’s research and clinical development.
The collaboration supports CSL’s strategic R&D priorities by helping scientists connect and analyze scientific data, identify potential targets earlier, accelerate timelines, and assess external opportunities more efficiently.
It also aims to link laboratory and computational work more closely, enabling experimental findings to inform research models and decisions faster.
In clinical development, CSL is working with AWS to reduce manual effort in areas including protocol authoring, clinical data handling and regulatory submissions, while maintaining appropriate data governance, traceability and inspection readiness.

CSL sets the scientific priorities, standards and portfolio strategy for the collaboration and draws on a broader ecosystem of technology partners to deliver it. As the principal AI and cloud provider in this effort, AWS contributes cloud infrastructure, innovative tooling, technical expertise, and AI capabilities through services such as Amazon Bedrock to improve efficiencies across CSL’s R&D processes. AWS is also working alongside CSL to build AI fluency across CSL’s R&D workforce.
The collaboration is part of CSL’s broader effort to use technology responsibly to strengthen and accelerate scientific discovery and decision-making, streamline development and help advance promising therapies for patients faster.
